Vision

Build Wooden Boats has been established to meet the needs of the amateur and professional wooden boat builders in the Melbourne metropolitan area. We provide the products, advice, and even the floor space you need to get going on your own project, sooner rather than later 8-)

We now stock a full range of BoatCraft Pacific products including the Bote-Cote Epoxy system and related products.

We specialise in the Norwalk Islands Sharpies range of trailerable, sea-going yachts. These versatile and unique yachts can be built from laser cut kits. Take a look at www.nisboats.com for details of plans and kits.

We can also work with you to part-build or complete your dream boat, from the smallest sailing dinghy, rowing boat, canoe or kayak, up to the thirty foot plus Norwalk Islands Sharpies.

Giving back to the community…

As part of our desire to engage with the local community and ‘put something back’, using Phillipe’s 20+ years involvement with a local not-for-profit organisation and his numerous contacts, we are working towards providing a working experience for young people to gain practical skills in boat building and business management.
