29 ft Boat  - Built 1930
 
This is a Classic Huon pine double ender. The hull is 28' 5'' LOD, 9' 3'' beam and draws 5'6''. It has external lead and internal ballast. Since I have had it I have taken it back to bare wood inside and out, put in sister ribs, replaced garboards, put in stringers, replaced the deck, the cockpit and coachhouse with ply and epoxy cloth and it has been completely refastened.

As a young boy, I saw her being built by Alec Lacco at Rosebud in 1955, never thinking that over 30 years later she would be mine.

Extensively re built and re engined with a Yanmar QM15 at the Wooden Boat Shop in 1990, she is in great condition having just been re painted and ready for the season.
