The Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club

The Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club (MMYC) was established in 1925 and is located on Lambert's Island in Mordialloc creek between the Nepean Highway bridge and the creek entrance to Port Phillip Bay. The club shares the Island with the Mordialloc Sea scouts and both clubs enjoy the privileges of using a private island for their activities. Access is via a footbridge from the car park of the Bridge hotel. Since early days members have been able to moor their boats in the creek along the South wall and around the Island.

The Club has approximately 200 members ranging in age from mid-twenties to retirees and is organised by the members on a purely voluntary basis. The club has a mixture of power-boats and yachts – with close to 100 boats.

For the yachting members there is year round racing with events across winter and summer. The Winter Series is the first Sunday of each month and in summer every fortnight on Sundays. A Twilight Summer Series is also held fortnightly

.

For the power boating members there are a number of Nav Rallies held from September through to April. In addition to these events the club organises cruises in the bay, fishing competitions and some members are involved in kayaking.

The club runs regular social activities through out the year.

New members are welcome.
